What to expect on your first visit

• Arrive 15 minutes early. Check in at the barn office (complete the Ready to Ride waiver online beforehand if you haven’t), and meet your trainer or guide.
• Dress for the barn. Long pants and closed-toe shoes with a small heel. Helmets are provided free of charge.
• Meet your horse. First-timers get a short ground lesson — how to approach, lead, and sit a horse — before any ride heads out.
• Ride. Lessons run about an hour; private trail rides and trail clinics about ninety minutes, matched to your experience level.
